Dr. Gupta was born in Los Angeles and raised in Augusta, Georgia. She attended The University of Georgia where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with Highest Honors with a degree in Microbiology. While at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, Dr. Gupta served as social chair, sat on the admissions committee, and was one of the founding members of a service organization dedicated to raising funding for patients in financial need. Because of her active role in service while in dental school, Dr. Gupta was awarded the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award and was inducted into the service fraternity Alpha Upsilon Phi. Dr. Gupta received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2009 and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an honors fraternity for graduating at the top of her class.
After dental school, Dr. Gupta completed a two year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at The University of Illinois at Chicago. Additionally, Dr. Gupta obtained a Masters in Oral Sciences where her research focused on addressing dental health during infant well-child visits. Dr. Gupta completed her Board Certification in Pediatric Dentistry and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Gupta is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Redwood Empire Dental Society.
In her spare time, Dr. Gupta enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughters, reading, running, cooking, traveling, and being outdoors.
Dr. Gupta is excited to be a part of Petaluma Kids Dental Care and looks forward to helping treat children of all ages!
Dr. Lundergan-Tung grew up in the Bay Area and attended grade school and high school in San Francisco. She moved to San Diego and received her Bachelors of Science degree in Human Biology from the University of California at San Diego. She then received her Masters of Science degree in Biology, specializing in pediatric immunology, from the University of California at San Diego. While completing her Master’s degree, she found her true passion was in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Lundergan-Tung attended the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School Dentistry, and was honored to graduate as the class Valedictorian. She completed her pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Southern California, Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. While in residency, she worked at Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach, Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles and Children’s Hospital in Orange County where she worked with wonderful families and learned from an incredible faculty.
When Dr. Lundergan-Tung is not in the dental office, she loves playing soccer and most other sports! “My family and I love camping, hiking, traveling and being outdoors!”
